Terms and Conditions

Last updated: May 22, 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of Kashi, including our web app, mobile apps, websites, subscriptions, support, and related services. By creating an account or using Kashi, you agree to these terms.

Service Description

Kashi provides business management tools for point of sale, inventory, purchases, credits, clients, suppliers, shifts, cash tracking, catalogs, analytics, team collaboration, notifications, and related workflows. Kashi is not accounting, tax, legal, financial, or professional advice. Reports, balances, receipts, inventory counts, credit records, and analytics are tools for your convenience and should be reviewed by you or your qualified advisors. Features may vary by platform, plan, region, and device.

User Accounts

You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for your login credentials, the users you invite to your organization, the permissions you assign, and all activity that occurs under your account or organization. You are also responsible for entering, reviewing, correcting, backing up, and preserving your business records, including prices, taxes, inventory, clients, suppliers, credits, refunds, receipts, and payment information.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Kashi only for lawful business purposes and in accordance with these terms. You are responsible for complying with all laws that apply to your business, including sales, tax, accounting, employment, privacy, consumer protection, customer, supplier, payment, and receipt requirements. You may not:

  • Use Kashi for illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, harmful, or abusive activity
  • Violate privacy, consumer protection, tax, employment, payment, or other applicable laws
  • Attempt to access another account, organization, system, or dataset without permission
  • Interfere with, reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or disrupt Kashi or its infrastructure
  • Upload malicious code, unlawful content, or content that infringes someone else's rights
  • Misrepresent your business, transactions, inventory, clients, payments, or identity

Payment Terms

Some Kashi features are free and others require a paid plan, in-app purchase, or subscription. Prices, taxes, billing cycles, plan limits, trials, and renewal terms are shown before purchase and may vary by region or platform. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date through the billing provider, app store, or account settings that apply to your purchase. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable.

Intellectual Property

Kashi and its software, designs, trademarks, content, and technology are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the business data and content you submit to Kashi, and you grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, display, back up, and operate that data so we can provide the services.

Limitation of Liability

Kashi is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that Kashi will be uninterrupted, error-free, always available, or that every record, calculation, report, notification, receipt, or sync will be complete or accurate. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost revenue, lost business opportunities, loss of data, incorrect user-entered information, missed taxes, inventory discrepancies, credit tracking errors, payment disputes, or business decisions made using Kashi.

Termination

You may stop using Kashi or request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create risk for Kashi or other users, fail to pay required fees, or use the service in a way that may cause legal, security, or operational harm. Some records may be retained where required for legal, tax, security, backup, or dispute-resolution purposes.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where local consumer protection laws require otherwise. Courts located in the United States will have jurisdiction over disputes that are not resolved informally.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms as Kashi evolves. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the app, by email, or by posting an updated version. Your continued use of Kashi after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
